Principal's Message

Welome
message

Welcome to all students, parents/guardians, and community members as we begin a new school year.

I am honoured to serve as the principal of Immaculate Conception school and look forward to working closely with all of our families and community members. Having grown up in Ancaster, I am excited to give back to a community that has given me so much.

Immaculate Conception is a Christ-centred learning environment. We strive to treat each other kindly and with respect. Our Faith is integrated into all that we do. As a staff, we work together to create a welcoming and kind environment where each belongs and students come first. At Immaculate Conception, it is our goal to help students reach their full potential.

We are proud of the opportunities that we are able to offer in our Catholic School Community as we work to develop the whole child. At Immaculate Conception we will focus on the Catholic Virtues:

1. Hospitality
2. Gratitude
3. Peace Maker
4. Charity
5. Courage
6. Love
7. Forgiveness
8. Justice
9. Compassion
10. Faithfulness

We hope to provide students with the skills to help them meet and achieve their goals. Extra curricular activities such as CYO sports, robotics, student council, eco team, school based events, and board based events provide students an opportunity to excel in different ways.

We are looking forward to continuing our positive relationship with our Parish Community of St. Ann's Parish and our Pastor Father Peter Tuyen Nguyen. We will work closely with this team to plan Masses, sacramental programs and classroom visits. St. Ann’s Parish strives to gather people together in faith, for prayer, worship and service in building up the Kingdom of God.

Parent volunteers are welcomed and appreciated. Our Catholic School Council continues to take an active role in the daily lives of our students. Please consider getting involved!

It truly takes a village to raise a child. Through positive relationships and connections with home, school and church we will achieve great things.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. Please feel free to drop by and say hello at any time. If you want to discuss any important matters, please remember to schedule an appointment through [email protected].

Wishing everyone a successful school year!

“Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do… but how much love we put in that action.”
